As an engaged couple, Rachael and I watched a lot of sample DVDs from professional video companies promising us a keepsake we'd treasure. Instead, what we received were more like home movies made by well-meaning relatives or, in some cases, unedited raw footage taken by a security camera than like a document of anyone's special day.
That gave us an idea: as an experienced filmmaking team, we could offer hopeful brides and grooms a wedding film that would capture the genuine drama and atmosphere - the whole point of the day - using the same film language used by directors of favourite films like Four Weddings and a Funeral and My Best Friend's Wedding. Not just a catalogue of the day's events, our wedding films would have meaning.
We put a great deal of our heart and passion into making wedding films that are all that they truly can be. And we want you to be able to say, 'At last, a wedding DVD our friends and family really will enjoy watching over and over again!'
